Hello all....

Hope someone is able to help me out here... :toast:

Im 29y
I live in Denmark (small country north of germany) :103631605
I planning a trip to USA in october/november.. (with a friend)
I have a lot of things i want to see, and i plan 3-4weeks...
I will of course attend all the sports that is possible that time of the year. NFL,NBA,NHL,NASCAR
I have played poker for 2years. And made a profit on it, Not BIG, but i dont loose money.. I keep track of all my play. And has done so from the beginning.. So of course im going to Las Vegas.. I saw from another thread that Binions, was to place to play when i want to play low limit NL.
Im also going to SF, to watch my favorite team 49'ers.. Just hope they will win that game..

Following i could use help / good advices for...

Trying to find plane tickets from Miami to Vegas.. around 350-450$ for a 1way ticket... Is that true??? I thought it was cheap to fly inside.. Do i look on the wrong places, or is that really the prizes??

For all the sports im going to, it could be cool to have someone to follow with, that also could give some good information about the teams, city, race what ever.. I know a lot to NFL, but dont know much about the rest.. I know a little. But not much... So if someone is going anyway, it could be nice to follow with you..

If anyone will help me, and help me via msn as well, you are welcome to add me nick at nick dot org

I problably have more questions later on.. :toast:

I think i will try to find a college game as well.. Is it football you thinking of, or is it just everything??

Las Vegas in the summer is a hot ticket and going for one-way doesn't mean you are getting a big discount. Airlines want the roundtrip.

you are going to need a second vacation after that vacation cause u will be so tired!!! anything is possible as long as u have a plan. its probably ok, i dont blame u, when i have traveld a far distance i packed something into most every day so that i saw what i wanted to see. advice is to make the plan, try and do it, but dont rush thru something u r enjoying to see the next thing on your list (unless u have to catch a plane). have fun!!!

cains, my best advice would be to stop in Columbus, Oh on 16 Nov. Get the flavor of a big-time college football weekend as on Sat (18Nov) Ohio St plays Michigan - perhaps College Football's biggest rivalry (and one of the top 5 rivalries in all of American sports).

Yikes, that is one jam packed agenda. Nov 7th is definitely overbooked, and you better find yourself a couple other "days off" in the middle somewhere.

Yeah i know its a packed holiday.. And i dont mind beeing tired when i get home, and will take some extra days off.. Its my first time in the states.. And could be many years before i get there again..

Not sure it will be possible with the college game you mention.. I have to add an extra week then, or move it all.. And then i would miss other things i want to see.. But thanks for input.. :103631605

think you should read again.. Its Nov7 - Nov11 :suomi: So 5 days for that..

And a last thing.. I know i might not get to see all that i have writtin so far.. I want to see the sports mentioned.. So that i will seee... Others will depend how it is when im there.. But hopefully its possible... But its not like its the end of the world if i miss something in the end...

Personally I wouldn't go to Disneyland unless you're bringing kids. It was OK when I went there as a kid, but definitely would not want to go again until/if I have kids. If you're looking for fun rollercoaster type parks I would go to Six Flags Magic Mountain in LA instead. Just a suggestion.

Well cant visit all of the states in 3 weeks...

I have always been a 49'ers fan.. And i play a lot of poker.. So was never really in doubt of where i should go on my first visit...

Im also much interested in NASA and everything around it.. And did check out a few possibilities to go down in miami/orlando and visit kennedy space center, but couldnt find time for it, on this trip...

I know i dont have New York. But i think new york is almost a 2week trip for it self.. So will go for that later on...
